Falling Slowly

Our country was left by the last administration as a floundering life raft. However the current administration has promised all kinds of recovery and HOPE. Has our current president promised more than he can deliver? It appears that the banks and big oil companies will do fine. Even some of the car manufacturers have reported that the bail out issued to them has been paid back in full.

What about our people? What about the families that are barely making it? Does the hope and dream of an education mean anything anymore? I've noticed that one school after another is closing and teachers as well as students might just be a thing of the past.

The big focus is still on terrorism. If our TV's aren't focused on that, it focuses on the latest infidelity of one of the celebrities.

I think as a country, we need to bring our troops home. We need to spend our efforts and resources on our own well being and futures, here in our own country! We need to develop alternative ways of transportation that is currently available, but not being used because it doesn't line the pockets of big oil companies.

If we can remove the current decision makers from power (not who we think it is) maybe we can focus on the principles that made this country what it used to be!

We have Obama at the wheel of this big ship. I can see a HUGE wave approaching us, will we sink or float? It's really up to us, November is coming soon!
